Milwaukee’s Flour Milling Industry


What comes to mind when you think of Milwaukee’s historic industries? Does flour make the list? UW-Milwaukee student Katie Wagner reminds us that it should in this great infographic she produced using Encyclopedia of Milwaukee entries for Danielle DeVasto’s English 439: Information Design course.     The graphics are nice, but consider acquiring pictures of the interior of the Milwaukee Grain Exchange. The interior is exceptional having seen during Doors Open MKE, a place fitting for weddings. Nothing lasts forever, consider France’s cathedral that burned. At least take a look. ~ R/S PT
