Halyard Park is named after Ardie Clark Halyard and her husband Wilbur. As bankers and activists, they founded the Columbia Savings and Loan Association with the goal of improving housing for African Americans in their neighborhood.

In 2010, Columbia and St. Mary's Hospitals merged in a new facility near Milwaukee's lake front. The facility is pictured here in 2016, shortly before it was acquired by the Ascension healthcare network.
This commemorative booklet from 1993 illustrates the numerous name changes and mergers between the Evangelical Deaconess and Mount Sinai Hospitals throughout the twentieth century. Today, the facility is known as the Aurora Sinai Medical Center.
The Baha'i House of Worship located in a suburb outside Chicago is the only Baha'i temple in the United States. Wisconsinites donated to the temple's construction, which took over forty years to complete.
